Mpaako brings people together through music, Ugandan heritage, and shared creative expression. Rooted in place and open to the world, the festival makes room for live performance, immersive art, and stories shaped by the people who carry them forward.
Our outlook is Afrofuturist: honoring ancestral knowledge while imagining new possibilities for African culture. Each gathering is an invitation to listen, move, discover, and connect across generations and creative disciplines.
